My Bumble and Bumble Love Affair: The Hairdresser's Invisible Oil Line

I'll be 100% honest: I am not an easy girl to win over. That goes double for beauty products. I am not one to give my heart and loyalty over to a brand so willingly.

That being said...I am absolutely head over heels for the Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser's Invisible Oil line. I have never found a line with a shampoo, conditioner, primer AND oil that completely manage every hair issue I face on a daily basis.

Let me tell you a little bit about my hair: first of all, I dye my hair blonde regularly, meaning it's prone to a little more damage than other types of hair. Second, I live in Utah where the air is extremely dry, which in turn makes my hair feel dry. Finally, I have hair extensions, which can be very difficult to manage: I have to take extra special care of them, or else they become permanently damaged and tangled. My challenge is finding styling products that satisfy both my hair needs and needs of my hair extensions.

Here's where the new Bumble and Bumble line comes in: each of its products contain 6 essential oils with the nutrients your body needs and craves (in order of lightest to heaviest):

1. Grape seed oil - helps to provide moisture to your hair and scalp while simultaneously minimalizing brittleness, breakage, and split ends
2. Safflower seed oil - replenishes moisture while protecting the hair
3. Sweet almond oil - makes hair super smooth while moisturizing
4. Macadamia nut oil - conditions hair
5. Argan oil - provides the ultimate hydration while reducing frizz
6. Coconut oil - repairs strands and deep conditions

The formula containing these oils doesn't weigh down your hair like other oils often do, as well as completely transforms hair that's desperately in need of moisture. Bumble experts recommend the Hairdresser's Invisible Oil (H.I.O.) products especially for those with medium to brittle and coarse dry hair. It's lightweight enough for my extensions, and protects my real hair by replenishing it with natural oils. With or without extensions, my hair has NEVER felt as soft, tangle-free, and silky as it has while I've been using the H.I.O. products.

Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser's Invisible Oil

The one that started it all. The Hairdresser's Invisible Oil was the fastest #1 product in the history of Bumble and Bumble hair care products, winning the hearts of stylists and B&B fans alike. It softens, tames flyaways, adds shine, strengthens, adds heat protection and detangles hair all in one little bottle. I recommend this for any and all hair types, regardless of how dry. I love to add a drop or two into my hair after blow drying to minimize frizz and give a little protection to my ends.

Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser's Invisible Oil Shampoo and Conditioner

I love the smell, I love that they instantaneously make my hair feel soft, I love that they have zero much love. Finding a conditioner that moisturizes yet doesn't weigh down my hair extensions can be tricky. The H.I.O. Conditioner really finds a happy balance in this regard, and makes it so it doesn't take 12 hours to brush out all my tangles. On top of THAT, it preserves my hair color so I stay blonde even longer. Weehoo!

Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser's Oil Heat/UV Protective Primer

The Primer is literally one of my all time favorite beauty products. EVER. It covers so many bases: it's a detangler, a leave-in conditioner, a UVA/UVB protectant, AND a thermal protectant. It seriously eliminates the need for so many other products by just spraying it in my hair after a shower. The way it's designed to function was described to me as similar to a makeup primer: you apply it to your hair in order to make the effect of styling products last longer. Normally, my hair styles fumble after about the first day. The Primer makes it so my styles last until the next time I wash my hair (usually every other day or so).
